HAPPY HOLIDAYS
From the Brown, Richardson + Rowe Team!
Happy Holidays from the Brown, Richardson + Rowe team! As we close out yet another exciting year, we want to express our gratitude to our clients, partners, and community. This year, we have been privileged to collaborate on many meaningful projects and deliver new and improved green spaces to our surrounding New England communities. Together, we’ve made a lasting impact, and we couldn’t be prouder of the work we’ve accomplished.
Looking ahead to the new year, we remain dedicated to designing landscapes that are not only appealing and functional but also sustainable - strengthening urban ecosystems and fostering equity and inclusion for the communities that need it most. Thank you for your continued trust and partnership, we look forward to continuing to collaborate in 2025. We wish you and your loved ones a joyful holiday season and a Happy New Year!
Lynn Harbor Park
Lynn, MA
A view of plantings installed on the western slope of Lynn Harbor Park.
Since the June groundbreaking, progress at Lynn Harbor Park is well underway with the team making steady progress on key infrastructure and ecological improvements. Most recently, the park’s shade structure at one of the high points has been constructed accentuating views of the Lynn Harbor and Boston skyline. Other improvements, including the granite steps leading to the park’s peak, have been completed, while the installation of other granite features and site furnishings has just begin. There is more to come this new year and we can’t wait to open this transformative park to the public in 2025!
Clemente Park
Lowell, MA
An illustrative plan of the redesigned Clemente Park.
In 2023, BRR was awarded the design contract for Lowell’s Clemente Park. Working with city officials and the community, we’ve redesigned the park to continue to reflect the neighborhood’s culture while enhancing recreational amenities, accessibility, and safety. The design ensures the park remains a welcoming and enduring resource for Lowell’s Cambodia Town and surrounding communities, especially for the park’s numerous festivities and events. With construction set for May 2025, we’re excited to see this vision take shape and bring meaningful improvements to the community.

In October, Salem’s Leefort Terrace Redevelopment broke ground, marking a significant step toward expanding much-needed affordable housing in the City. BRR has been working closely with Beacon Communities to design exterior improvements, including private and public amenity spaces that foster community connections. The project also incorporates a number of sustainability strategies. Scheduled to be completed in Spring 2026, this project demonstrates a strong commitment to environmental stewardship and equitable housing and will provide a vibrant, welcoming space for residents while addressing critical community needs.
