Brown, Richardson + Rowe assisted Good Clancy Architects in the design of the J. Michael Ruane Judicial Center on historic Federal Street. As part of the Goody Clancy Architects design team, Brown, Richardson & Rowe’s site plan unites the courthouse and two adjacent buildings—the Probate Family Court and a law library—into a cohesive campus in a dense, urban setting. The design included a small urban plaza, roof garden, ample bicycle parking, and a quiet courtyard. The Judicial Center received LEED Gold certification.
