Gateway City Parks Program
Veteran's Memorial Park, Holyoke, MA
The purpose of this state program is to improve and advance park quality and equity in the Gateway Cities of Massachusetts by targeting investments to provide park and recreational opportunities that are essential to the well-being of urban residents. This program provides cities with funding options for brownfield assessment, sustainable waterfront planning, park and trail design, historic preservation, and open space and recreation plans. Brown, Richardson + Rowe helps identify and evaluate potential projects; develop plans for new parks, trails, and greenways; and preserve existing parks.
