Existing Seawall – Lynn Waterfront
The goal of this Waterfront Open Space Master Plan is to establish Open Space Design Guidelines for land parcels along the Lynn waterfront. By setting forth the City’s expectations for future waterfront development, this Open Space Master Plan seeks to ensure that future development projects here will create coherent neighborhoods with high quality open spaces linked by a continuous, accessible, waterfront promenade from the General Edwards Bridge to the Nahant Beach Reservation. This project is funded by a grant from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs’ Gateway City Parks Program and the Department of Conservation and Recreation.
